From talk shows to bus campaigns, the question of God is up for public debate. The New Atheists want you to question your faith. So do authors Sean McDowell and Jonathan Morrow. They know that the solid evidence for God and Christianity can withstand the New Atheism's emotionally compelling and sometimes disturbing attacks. Because the truth about God is too important not to be seriously investigated and honestly discussed.
Features additional insights and bonus material from these well-known apologists, scientists, and philosophers:
Randy Alcorn Gary R. Habermas
Kerby Anderson Clay Jones
Darrell L. Bock Gregory Koukl
Paul Copan Mark D. Linville
William A. Dembski John Warwick Montgomery
Garry DeWeese Fazale R. Rana
Dale & Jonalyn Fincher Jay W. Richards
R. Douglas Geivett Glenn S. Sunshine
Douglas Groothuis Frank Turek
Hearing the challenges of well-known atheists like Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens (who believe that religion - and specifically Christianity - is not only false, but dangerous and must be eliminated), authors Sean McDowell and Jonathan Morrow believe that the current religious landscape is both an opportunity and a challenge for people of faith. Now is the time to respond.
In an accessible yet rigorous look at the arguments of the New Atheists, McDowell and Morrow honestly discuss both scientific (philosophical) and biblical (moral) questions, such as
•Are Science and Christianity at Odds?
•Are Miracles Possible?
•Is Hell a Divine Torture Chamber?
•Why Jesus Instead of the Flying Spaghetti Monster?
